I know I know... D'laney a blog is to update people daily probably weekly.. not hourly. But I usually start strong with something and it lasts maybe a week or two and then... nothing.... so I have to tell you something that happened to me at fhe tonight.... so it was my first time going in my new ward and we did the usual, go around the circle introduce yourself and say where you are from so we did that and than played who can remember the most names.... well every single person that tried to do it couldn't remember my name... Towards the end people were doing pretty good.. you know.. cause they kept hearing the names over and over again.. but no they skipped me every time... So I am guessing my face must have been really red or everyone just naturally starting feeling sorry for me so all at once the guys said, "that's a tight name" and the girls "you are so cute" ................ embarrassing! But I am guessing they will know my name now.
I start school tomorrow... sadly I must admit that the part I am most nervous about is waking up at 6:30.....I haven't done that in awhile!

Aw-- all those people with NO imaginations, good thing your name isn't something REALLY weird, like CrapBag or something. You should have said, "It's D'laney... like Laney with a Duh in front of it." then follow it up with a good eye-roll and mutter for them to all hear, "College isn't for EVERYONE"... and look pointedly at the fool who can't get it right. Yeah, that'll show em.
ps. i love that you're getting into this blogging thing... go you! (by the way, I added you on my Google Reader... that tells me pretty much exactly when anyone updates... i'm not really just on your blog waiting... waiting... waiting...
and lastly... 6:30--- wow, i don't envy you for that... good luck on your first day of school... play nice.
